2.2.2.2 Insert note

By choosing this option it is possible to write a note to be placed on the article being edited.

2.2.2.3 Importing from Word

This option allows the importing of documents from files in Microsoft Word format (.doc). The imported document will respect the formatting of punctuation, paragraphs, tables, italics, the bold and underlining of the document in question.

When there is a document to be imported from Microsoft Word to the article editing interface, then you have only to place the name of the file in the text box and select the send option.

You can alternatively open the browse option and choose the intended file. In this case, the location of the file will be automatically inserted into the text box. By pressing the Send button, the back office system will introduce the content of the Microsoft word document in the text field respecting the aforesaid formatting.

2.2.2.4 File sending

The file send options allow the website server to upload so that files from an article can be made available. Through these options it is possible to send not only images in gif or jpeg format but also video, sound, document or any other file format.

File sending
The screen for file sending is similar to that used for importing files from the Word format.

Furthermore, in such cases the path for the file to be imported may be defined either in the text box or selected from the browse option. Then you should press the button for file sending to the server. If the sending is carried out and if the file is not in gif or jpeg format, then the code will appear on the screen in HTML. This is used to establish a hyperlink to the file from the article being edited.

For example, if we want a hyperlink to the file made at the beginning of the text field of the article, then we should copy the HTML code supplied and paste it at that point inside the text box where we intend to see the hyperlink included.

If the file to be sent is an image in gif or jpeg format, then it is possible to resize the image before including it in the article.

To complete this, the scale intended for resizing in the “New size” box has to be introduced before clicking on the Change size option.

The new image, already resized, will appear on the screen.

In order to insert an image into the article, the HTML code of the intended image has to be copied to the box corresponding to one of the article’s fields.

Notes: the names of the sent files through the upload are to contain neither characters with accents nor blank spaces. The use of the referred characters may result in a failure to use such files.
The upload options are configured to restrict the size of the sent files. In case of difficulty in sending large files (over 2 Mb), please contact the technician in charge of the website server.
